High on the volcanic soil of the Sierra Madres lies a collective of farms formed to produce sustainable organic coffee.  Together these farmers have been able to begin to deal with soil erosion and the past chemical devastating affects on animals and plant life.

Their prized possession, Onix Organic, is a highly valued crop that is beginning to show fruit beyond the consumer’s cup of morning coffee.  Young people are finding satisfying and rewarding work rather than having to flee their communities.  New home are being built and provisions are being made for furthering the education of local children.
