As we roast this Organic Sumatra darker there is a transformation from sweetness to bitter sweetness, from floral notes to chocolate tones, and from a silky luxury to a heavy cream.
Grown at elevation in excess of 1100 meters above sea level, this Typica varietal is semi washed then dry processed to produce a cup rich with dark cocoa and burnt cherry notes. Shade grown Organic Fair Trade certified, these hand picked beans are grown on volcanic solid. The dark roast is a low acid coffee steeped in a heavy body.
